World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) aims to put a spotlight on the hurdles that people living with autism face every day.Autism is a topic that is only gaining more understanding and both EYFS and Primary pupils have participated in some exciting WAAD awareness activities this week. We participated in workshops, embraced our differences, reflected on the importance of inclusion and had lots of fun dressing in blue to support ‘Light It Up Blue’ initiative. Oh, and buying some yummy blue doughnuts, cookies and cool wristbands was a treat!We are very proud of the BSE community spirit and passion. We look forward to revealing the total amount raised for The Egyptian Autistic Society! Watch this space!
